TEACHING
Mixed vocal ensemble that is open to all students from 9th to 12th grade. Students perform a variety of genres and styles of music at concerts and any competitions. Small group pull-out lessons occur weekly on a rotation-based schedule.
Audition-based vocal jazz ensemble that performs advanced jazz repertoire. Students learn vocal jazz techniques and develop improvisational solos with scat syllables. This group performs at regular community events and NYSSMA Majors each year. Small group pull-out lessons occur weekly on a rotation-based schedule.
